This is an opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to work in the heart of South Yarra Melbourne in this modern Thai restaurant which is inspired by the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.
We are looking for a bright, positive and motivated individual as our Restaurant Manager while working with a team to deliver exceptional service and guest experience standards.
This role provides a work/life balance with service covering 5 dinners and 1 lunch (sat) p/w and hours generally from 3pm – 11pm

About you:
- You will demonstrate at least three years experience in similar management role
- You will have a very good hospitality business acumen, understanding of rostering, operational costings and team development
- You are a dedicated hospitality professional
- You will be available to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- You will be keen to learn and expand on your existing hospitality management knowledge
- You will enjoy team work and a customer focused environment
- Wine knowledge a distinct advantage
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in the following and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining company standards of service and presentation
- Planning and development of seasonal menus, wine matching and special event menus
- Maintaining purchasing, stock levels and staffing costs in line with weekly and monthly budgets
- Managing and overseeing reservations and customer service in a busy dining room
- Managing health and safety requirements
- Participating in recruitment, training and supervising of new staff
