Chef de partie

Location: Regional Victoria location - 100KMS from Melbourne CBD Work Type: Full Time Salary: Salary range from $56,000 to $65,000

A new and exciting opportunity exists to be part of a dynamic team at this venue with in 100km from Melbourne.

We are seeking a qualified Chef de partie to work directly with our Head Chef in managing the day to day operations of the kitchen. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform in a fast paced kitchen. In return you will be provided with a work place where you will continue to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a supportive management team.

Salary range from $56,000 – $65,000

Duties

  • Menu planning
  • Estimating food and labour costs
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Ensuring hygiene regulations are met
  • Freezing and preserving foods

Qualifications

  • Completion of a relevant Commercial Cookery qualification including Cert IV and a Dipolma of Hospitality are a minimum requirement.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience is also a requiremt for this CDP role.
