Pastry Cook

Location: Melbourne Work Type: Full Time Salary: 55 - 75K + super

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Pastry Cook to join our culinary team at our venue located in the Melbourne Metropolitan area.

As the art of food preparation and presentation is critical to the customer, as well as to the reputation of the venue, we are looking for individuals who are meticulous and precise in their approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare cakes, breads, or other pastrie
  • Modifying, and creating recipes
  • Ordering necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Baking cakes and pastries, and decorating baked goods
  • Measuring ingredients and modifying recipes
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, so good communication skills are also important.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training

SALARY RANGE:   $55 – 70k + SUPER
